Welcome to our fall 2024 newsletter! We have been so busy over the past few months, and in this edition, you’ll learn about all of our recent adventures. The Waterloo Healthcare team really enjoys getting out and seeing our clients, as well as sharing information about our industry-leading medical carts. In the past few months, they represented our company at the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Conference and AHRMM event, and showed booth visitors the features of our Code Carts and Substance Carts, and explained the great features of our Electronic Locks (eLocks).

Lots has been happening at Waterloo Healthcare since our last newsletter. We joined many of you at the HSPA conference in Las Vegas. Had a wonderful time reconnecting with several of our distributors as well as our Sterile Processing customers who are on the front lines when it comes to managing their hospitals’ code cart fleet. Without their support, a cart is just a cart…so thank you for all you do to keep our carts at the ready to help your staff save lives!

Electronic locks have become increasingly more popular as hospitals address medication security concerns. Electronic locks allow for automatic relocking – the ability to restrict access to specific users as well as the capture of audit trails that can show who has accessed a given cart. Audit trails give vital information that helps to enhance the security of medications, syringes, and other “at risk” supply items (saline flushes, etc.).

Third Quarter Updates Hard to believe that summer is drawing to a close and kids are heading back to school. Just seems too soon, doesn’t it? As they say “time flies” and it certainly seems that way… But while time has been flying, we at Waterloo Healthcare have been busy expanding our team, connecting with our customers and distributor partners at the AHRMM conference, and creating tools that can help you decide whether steel or aluminum is right for your next procedure cart.
